Martyn Slawson joins EMC board
East Midlands Ceramic’s development manager, Martyn Slawson, was presented with the ultimate 40th birthday gift – a promotion to its board of directors.
Martyn, who has been with the family-run company for 22 years, has served in a wide variety or roles, including managing the EMC Tiles, showroom and warehouse in Loughborough.
Says Martyn: “I have just celebrated my 40th birthday and this is the perfect gift. I am delighted to be joining the board and look forward to helping to expand the company’s commercial activities – as well as maintaining and building on our unrivalled reputation for customer service, quality and value for money.”
EMC Tiles’ managing director, Barry Slawson, says: “It is a great pleasure to have my son Martyn on the board.
